|
|
I would like to use my Kronos2 only as a MIDI controller at times. I am using Logic Pro X and orchestral samples from Spitfire Audio. I am particularly needing to use the faders - two at a time for controlling instrument articulations. I will buy separate faders if I need to, but was thinking the Kronos could serve this purpose because it is really solid faders.
I’ve read several posts about it, but not gotten a solid answer directly relating to my setup..
Any ideas would be appreciated!

The Kronos is versatile as a controller. The faders can be assigned any CC# between 0 and 119 and, when the Control Surface is in EXT mode, entered by pressing the EXT button to the left of the sliders and switches, the Kronos will send CC# and slider position values as the sliders are moved. The CC# assignments are set in Global, MIDI, External 1 tab.

Thanks so much for the quick and helpful reply. I’ll play with that tonight and see if I can make it work. |
