|
|
I've typically been one of those guys that just uses the native sounds on my synths. But recently I feel the need to tweak some aspects of those sounds I loved so much to suit my new needs for them.
For example, I'd love to program a moderately slow sounding wah pedal type sweep into an organ sound and use it when playing The Who's Won't Get Fooled Again.
Or, be able to hold down a chord and have the sound repeat 8th notes instead of my having to play the repetitive chords...
Does anyone know of a guide (like how to program the korg trinity for dummies) that will help me get into the sound banks and make some tweaks?
Thanks |

All Trinity manuals: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=45892
Regards the repeating 8th notes, if you're specifically wanting to re-trigger the notes 'live' you would have to hook the Trinity up to a device with an arpeggiator, as the Trinity doesn't have its own native onboard arpeggiator. However you could mimic it by modulating the amp sustain with a square LFO at a predefined frequency. Alternatively if you have Moss or Solo you can more easily clock such LFOs to MIDI.
Separately, if you wanted to record repeating 8th notes in non-realtime (not live), you can do this with the sequencer. The manuals above should give you all the info. _________________ [Free Moss Set For All Workstations With Moss Expansion]
