So i got my volca sample recenly and when i record it in my DAW i hear hiss and pops. After a little research i concluded that reason for that may be my cable, im currently usind 3,5 stereo to 3,5 stereo which then goes into 3.5 to 6.5 stereo adapter. Is a proper cable going to solve the problem? also is there a difference if i use 3,5 stereo to 2X 6.5 mono or 3,5 stereo to 6,5 stereo? Im using scarlett 2i4 which only has 2 inputs so id prefer to use just 1 input. |

cables are key for making the volcas sound right. The volcas send a dual mono signal and with the wrong cables you lose half of the output volume. this equals boosting the signal high when the volcas are input into a mixer or interface and can cause compromised audio.
hosa cmp-135 3.5 mm trs to dual 1/4 ts
hosa cmp-105 1/4 ts to 3.5mm trs mono interconnected
are two cable which should suffice for maintaining the proper audio signal. |
