Hey man, many people manage to make great music on these machines. Have you ever considered that your inability to use them may be down to you and not the machines themselves?

If it doesn't work for you then move on to something that does. Your obvious vendetta against the new electribes is really quite pathetic. You're like a jilted lover who just can't let go of a relationship. Move on dude, it isn't healthy to linger on something negative.

The wise can see that ultimately your logic is pathetic. This is the kind of attitude that has the world enslaved, just let it go?!

You mean like we've just let this go...

Take your pick of video, most give good explanations. I like Veronica Chapman personally, upfront, no bullshit, to the point.

Doesn't matter where you're from this is global. And you think we should just let things slide Eh? That's exactly why the world is so screwed up! But hey, you can always get a hot dog!

Chances are, you, like most will class and ignore it as conspiracy theory, but if it's a theory, why does it actually work that way? How is it that debt collectors can be made to back off, courts can be made a mockery of, bank notes are nothing more than fancy IOUs!

Do some research...

Also, there's no denying korg has screwed up, no one can deny that. The only way to make them listen is by hitting where it hurts. If you keep agreeing with them, they'll never listen or change. Only when their cash flow is affected do they obey. Companies have become modern Frankenstein monsters. They're too big and too powerful and they are the ones running this world, not governments!

Dude wtf has that got to do with anything? You think you're making a stand and fighting global corporate tyranny by constantly complaining about the new electribes on an internet forum? Laughing your delusional mindset is worse than I suspected. Clearly there is no point in continuing this conversation so I wish you the best in your struggle against our financial overlords. Good luck with that.

Not from Korg. Other than Nick Kwas, a product specialist at Korg USA saying "We are aware of the petition and are continuously looking at ways to develop future improvements to the Electribe 2 and Electribe 2 Sampler. This of course takes time, but i can assure you we are always listening to the users. Making the code open source is a cool idea too! Don't know how likely it would be though" about 9 months ago.

I sent in the petition (hard copies and emails) when we had about 1,000 signatures (We are at 1,392 currently).

So far, no response from Korg.

That's because they don't care.
The comment you quoted is nothing more than PR bullshit. Just like the crap that comes from every politicians mouth!
If you believe it, you're a mug!

My only previous experience with Electribes was the ER1 and EA1. Loved those machines, but eventually parted ways with both.

I received the Electribe Sampler three days ago, and so far it is great at what I expected it to be, which is a drum machine that I can put my own drum sounds into. I suppose I might be finding some of the disappointment others are experiencing if this was going to be the centerpiece of my studio; but that was never my expectation.

Anyhoo, just my two cents. I got an "open-box" deal on this one (surely someone was disappointed with it and returned it.) I'm happy with it.
