Since yesterday I have my new Korg PA4X Musikant. I*m very happy with my new instrument. So I have my Korg Kronos 88 hammered keys, M Audio 88 hammered my tyros 4 black limited edition and the new PA4X Musikant
Can someone give me recommendations for the correct setting of the equalizer in the PA4X? What are the best values for Maxx? Does anyone have experiences what settings are recommended when playing on a PA or BOSE L2? What values do you use for the Korg PAAS speaker system?
I love a nice rich sound with deep bass and a good drum sound. At the moment the PA4X sounds a bit thin. I wanna have a realy great sound.
Would be glad if someone can give me some tips. Of course I have to try the finishing touch myself, but a tendency would be very good.

Congratulations on your Pa4X Musikant.
A fantastic instrument.
I myself have a Pa4X - 76 International with PAaS.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to post images on this forum.
I took 4 pictures of my settings.
It concerns settings for use with PAaS and with PA.
Maybe you can give me your email address in a PM.
Then I can send you the photos.

I am going to ‘bump’ a discussion on PA4X EQ SETTINGS. Scroll down first page for Jonyblues settings for the PaAS - these are great and will save you much time.

The EQ and MAXX settings are highly dependent on the personal taste.
Moreover, the kind of music also plays an important role.
I use different settings for classical music than for EDM.
The PAaS will mostly be used in a home situation.
Then of course the acoustic features of the living room play also an important role.
(curtains, carpeting)

As a Mastering enginier, I think i maded one of the best, i will upload it, IF my Companion says OK!

Hi Phil✋ Many thanks for this great tip! I tried it and it works fantastic👍👍👍 now i‘m very happy. It sounds very good and totaly different as i heard two hours ago.
I have the PA4x since yesterday. Yamaha is very easy to use. The pa4x is not so easy. For example i can reduce the volumes for left and the 3 right parts but not for base and drums and accomp when using the sliders?

Please do, Asena. I'll be giving Jonyblues' settings a go this weekend. While I'm here I'll ask you the same question I just posted to Jony: What are your thoughts on compression to add some thump to bass and drums?
