little fear anyway : I hope that the future of the Korg workstations will not be the only aim of recreating the famous sounds of old synths and songs of the past.

LOL. that would be a ' few steps backwards' if thats all that Korg did with a $3000- $4000 workstation

you say ' songs'. To be clear, Korg does not recreate Songs or write them. Thats what I do. I like old songs, from the 70's and some from the 60's. For example, I am re-creating a Doors tune.

Apart from the Kronos, the only extra stuff I ever buy is vintage virtual synths / sounds. If a new generation Kronos had all the vintage synth sounds I desire, then I wouldn't have to use AU's / VST's so much.

So the more vintage sounds (and vintage effects) incorporated into a single DAW, all the better for me......

Greg I agree most people want analog synths they want the old sound

recreated. Unless of course you into Pop or Rap! Most everyone in my circles

want Rhodes, Brass, Synth, AP's authentic sounds. Why you think Behringer

is recreating all the vintage analog synths. Of course keyboard players have

different needs and wants! Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

I think I can understand. But I already have 1000's of synth sounds. and inexpensive access to 10,000's.

So maybe the requested content has to be better defined. in the context of a $3000-$4000 W/s.

Since you and likely others want the old sounds ( ala Behringer), its likely Korg
is well aware of a growing niche of interest. But they better shake a leg since if the niche is defined, it will get filled quickly.

Plus I am more interested is high quality actual instrument sounds. Which
would make my Bucket List covers more realistic.
