It has been a while since I've done this. you should be able to create various Split zones and save them with a Style. Look up the manual under 'Keyboard/Ensemble: Key/'. Also Each Style has Upper1, Upper2, Upper3 and Lower sounds. Each of the Upper1, 2 and 3 sounds can be treated as an individual zone I think. _________________ Sam

Actually , advanced users with deep knowledge in Sound editing , can create in a single sound up to 24 OSC splits
X 4 (3 upper + 1 lower) in KB set mode = 96 keyboard splits !!!
For end-users with basic knowledge , 4 basic splits can be achieved with very simple orientation programming in KB SET mode ! _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer

And that's exactly why the split function in Sound mode is not available on the front panel in Style mode, because no body's going to be able to remember 96 split zones on an arranger keyboard that's not even made for that type of performance to begin with. If you want to put it that way, there's bunch of stuff that can be tweaked in strange ways and yet when it comes to actual performance, they're hardly of any use...again talking about arranger keyboards here....whereas with some workstation keyboards, you can split the entire keyboard into single individual keys/zones. _________________ Sam

That's kind of funny to me because I wish I could turn the split off globally so all the styles would just come up in no split mode. I am constantly having to turn the split off every time I bring up a new style. I re-save the onboard styles with the split off. _________________ Pa4x, Oasys 76, K2000, PC3K7, Montage 8, Pa5x |

Mstodola,
You can close the Keyboard Mode (Split/Full) lock in the Global > General Controls > Lock > Control page. Save the My Setting Keyboard Set with the split turned off, and you'll have the full keyboard mode everywhere.

Can we get back on topic.
I am also unable to find the section in the manual explaining how to quickly setup up more than 1 split point without having to make custom multi-samples. _________________ Pa5x, Yamaha Genos, ForeScore |

You can set different key range for each of upper voices. See p181 in User Manual for OS2. _________________ Korg Pa4X (OS NEXT 3.1.0)
