|
|
Hey all,
I have an EMX that I'm trying to record tracks of a song separately into Pro Tools HD10. I usually let the EMX just receive clock information from Pro Tools, allowing every track to sync up as I solo each one through the recording process.
However, in this song I have internally recorded tempo changes, so having Pro Tools send clock information will mess that up. I'd like to somehow do the opposite, automatically triggering Pro Tools to start recording when I push play on the EMX by sending that MIDI info in. However, I can't seem to find a way to do this. Can anyone help me out? |

Nevermind, just remembered that I can use the "wait for note" function in Pro Tools. If an admin wishes, feel free to delete this thread. |

Glad that worked out for you! What's cool is that you've made a thread with all the info in it, so if someone has the same question they'll know whatdo. Like the inuksuk. |
