Korg has updated many of their styles. Before I was having trouble finding simple styles for basic pop, rock&roll, standard 6/8, standard waltzes, and country. They are here now. Great job Korg.
Many things don't work the same as before. But I like the changes. I like that the keyboard sound doesn't change when I change styles, not even the effects. This is a big plus for me. I also like the feel of the keybed better. I don't know how they did it, but it's easier to play for long intervals of time and it has more sensitivity.
I'm finding myself picking a style and getting lost again. A great time waster, but a lot of fun. Maybe the reason why I'm not experiencing problems is because I'm not trying to recreate my old experience or setup, but treating this like a new keyboard.
The Direct setup was much easier to do and it was more descriptive. Like I said, so far I like the changes. I think Korg and Paolo did a great job. _________________ Pa4x, Oasys 76, K2000, PC3K7, Montage 8, Pa5x |

|
|
1. there are 52 new styles ( pop, ballad, dance ) already in the USER section
after installing V2..
I'm assuming these are the same
52 new styles released with V2, i.e.
is this bonus ware the same 52 styles already loaded
2. from my media flash drive I have Pa set styles Vol 27 and if I press on it
and hit load and say yes I'm sure
where will these styles be landing on the KORG
I'm assuming the USER area and will be the same as those already in the unit
right?
thank you

Correct - they are the same
Korg made the Vol-27 so we could reload our saved SETs after V2 and later, conveniently load the new styles wherever we want.
Re loading:-
Don't press "Load" press "open" and then you can selectively load the bank or even individual STYLEs and YOU choose the destination (just "open" the bank to get to the individual styles)
Cheers
