Just bought a KP2 but want to know if I can put my own samples onto it someway somehow. |

For the grey desktop box, you cannot save samples off of it; it's got what's called "volatile memory" meaning it gets erased each time the unit is powered off. A KP3 will let you save samples to SD card.
It has 2 slots in those buttons on the front row that you can record a one-shot sample through the line/mic input for about 6 seconds each. Once you've got a sample recorded it'll function like a "gated" sample: as long as you hold the button down it'll play through. You can even hold the button and hit Hold and it'll play continuously! It's limited--really limited--but still a handy little feature. |
