I'm very happy of the sounds of my Microkorg XL+ but little disappointed by some weakness in construction (traditional Microkorg seems to be stronger).
Specifically, sometimes when I turn on my Microkorg XL+ the left audio channel is missing or generating a lot of noise. After nocking a little bit on the board, the audio output is restored. But this defect is annoying, especially when you find it in live situations.
Any suggestion on possible causes and how to solve it easily?

Hi,

Seems a bit to a recurring problem reported before on the XL(+).

Refer to this thead: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=92092
It is a similar problem and the solution was to reseat a board. You need to open the XL+ for this.
You can try it as well if you're a bit handy.

Good luck.
