I too have gone through this dilemma in the past. I've seen on here that Korg will help out with the stolen or repaired situation, but I bought a second newer Kronos, as a backup and had to re-purchase at full price the sounds I had installed on my first machine. I had a bit of a disappointing experience, (which I won't elaborate on here) in the whole process, and asked Korg for their pity, and it fell on deaf ears, so I'm not likely to purchase any more sets from the Korg website at least. I'm just grateful to enjoy the ones I do have installed, and have discovered some great plugins which play well with the Kronos, with the freedom to retain when I upgrade my computers. _________________ The companions I can't live without: Kawai Acoustic Grand, Kawai MP11SE, Yamaha Montage8, Korg D1
Other important stuff: Kronos2-73, Studiologic NC2X, NI Komplete Ultimate 11, Sonuscore Elysion and Orchestra, Pianoteq, Experimenta Due. |

I think its wise to diversify, as I see you have a solid collection or rig of gear.
While I am absorbed with recording 100% Kronos for the year, I also have MainStage/Omnis 2/Keyscape. The VI's and MS sound excellent and provide a wealth of alternatives. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8
