Has anyone changed out their clock battery on their Kronos?
If so did you use a (CR2025 or CR2032)?
If you had success what did you use and do you have any advice?

I would be grateful for any input.

glad to help.

Some of these very useful and old post topics are not easy to dig up with google. Since I helped a friend with the Clock battery in 2013, I had some recall when I read your post.

I will be bringing the K (orriginal 88 key serial in the low 30's) for a keybed repair later this week.

Since they are obviously going to open it up, would it be smart to also let them replace the clock battery?

Bachus. I am of the opinion that the less often I open electronics the better to avoid accidental breakage, static electricity, new dust entering, or whatever. Go ahead and let the tech do it for a couple of bucks while it's open. I feel the same way about body surgery.
