99 + Fine 99 > 32.0

You can calculate the output when using the Frequency Fine parameter by dividing the Fine parameter value by 99 and then calculating that percentage between the current and next value. Just be wary that the base 99 of the Frequency Fine parameter adds a step to the calculation. I'll use Andy's example:

"If the LFO frequency is 47 and the fine frequency is 73: First find entry 47 in the table. That value is 2.496719 Hz. The very next entry in the table is 2.608299 Hz. Use the fine control to find the point 73% of the way between these two values.
fine tune = (73/99) * (2.608299 - 2.496719) which is 0.082276162. Then the final result is
2.496719 + 0.082276162 = 2.578995162 Hz."

You can use an AMS source to boost LFO speed above 32Hz. I haven't tested the max value nor have I devised a way to even test for the max value. I thought of two methods that might show some promise.

1.) layer two instances of AL-1 with one instance performing ring modulation and the other mimicking ring modulation by patching an LFO into amp. The modulators and carriers would need to be the same waveforms for both instances. The idea is that I can set whatever frequencies I like with real ring modulation in one instance and then test to see if I can match the timbre with the pseudo ring modulation in the other instance.

2.) very similar to the above except using FM in MOD-7. That is, setup a basic FM circuit and then mimic that circuit with an LFO as a modulator instead of a VPM oscillator.

I honestly don't think either method will work but I won't know until I try.

Thanks for this! Those LFO values may come in handy one day.

I once did a similar chart with delay time in milliseconds for each BPM value, way back in the day before the Internet.

I was not successful in determining the maximum LFO frequency after it is fully boosted by an AMS source. The two ideas I had of trying to compare the LFO to modulators in ring or FM yielded indeterminate results. The LFO acting in place of a normal oscillator modulator sounded too different to be able to match sonic profiles between the two. If anyone can think of a way to test the LFO maximum frequency then let me know!

Thank you for these values! Many don't know about this! Also, I know that the Kronos LFO's can go audio range I believe somewhere over (and yes, not a typo) 300 hz with help from AMS!

You know what I didn't try while hunting... plain sine waves. Since AL-1 doesn't use sine waves it made comparing the results of ring modulation too difficult. And the Harmonics of FM were way too crazy in MOD-7 to match up. But I didn't try ring modulation in MOD-7 using simple sine waves. Since I'd only be dealing with the sum and difference of the pure tones involved, I should be able to match up the LFO vs oscillator modulator frequencies... Otherwise I'm out of ideas.

I did it! The last idea worked! Confirming that the maximum rate for the LFO when sped up by an AMS is 750Hz! If the LFO has a Frequency Value knob at 99 and the Fine knob is at 99 for an LFO rate of 32Hz, the AMS will hit the ceiling of 750Hz at position 75 where it seems to waver in volume. You can then "catch" the LFO at it's maximum volume without wavering by going to AMS intensity 76 and above. However you might "catch" the LFO with no gain so it could take a few tries. Simply flip back to 75 and 76 again till you get the maximum output volume.

Since these are very close to being 100% accurate, I might as well write down some values, counting 99 + fine 99 as "100" and every positive AMS value as +1 from there.
