How to use delete button in style recording.
In yamaha if I run my finger on an octave it delete all the notes from the style.
But when I try the same in function in korg I can see some notes are deleted and many more are getting recorded at the same time...
How can I do it properly to delete the notes and not to get the notes recorded in this process. _________________ Bny |

What's wrong | You need to keep press and hold the delete button and the notes that you want to delete for all measures until it plays back them all.
For ex; if your style has 4 measures, you should keep press/hold the delete button and the notes that you want to delete at the same time while 4 measures are playing back.
Hope that helps. |

Old post.
I have Pa4X not pa900 but it should be the same.
There is not such a Delete Button but Delete Note option in the display in Style Record Mode.
Here is the Delete Note (Red circle).
Hope that helps. |

For some reason I can't put the image which shows that my display doesn't have the delete button |

As I mentioned, I have Pa4X, no Pa5X nor Pa900.
We should ask the question in the appropriate section of the Forum.
You can post your question in Pa5X section.
Hope that helps. |

"Delete note" as you see on display of BR "The main Style Record page" allows deleting SINGLE NOTES or a single percussive instrument from a track.
For example, to delete a snare,
- keep the D2 note pressed(corresponding to the snare)
- select a a style track.
- touch the Delete Note button, and keep it pressed
- Press START/STOP to start the sequence
- all note events D2 will be deletet between Start/Stop.
*
Above method is advantageous during recording, but if you want to change different events then style's menue "event editor" is better suited for this.
*
If you want to delete note events individually use Menue "Event Edit", select a track and use scrolling between measures of that track, select a note event and press "Delete".
In that menu it is possible
- to position on specific measure (press "Go measure")
- to select position, type of event, value 1 and 2
- to insert or to delete Events.
*
PS: Above methods are the same with Pa900, Pa4x, Pa1000, Pa700 .. _________________ kind regards
