Hi all

So I have ver 2.00 installed and have been exploring.

Now though, when I play a style (currently one of the new 'POP' styles it stops
Completely after 8 bars, and then starts again on the next bar!
What have I done? On screen I can see the name of the selected style and the
Letter m counting the bars to 8 when it stops.

Help appreciated

Peter S

Hi Peter

That sounds extremely strange - please tell us:-
Exactly which style
Which VAR are you playing
Which chord (this could be relevant relating to the STYLE's CVs (chord variations))
Even though it stops, does it start again by itself?

Cheers

Pete Very Happy

Hi Pete
The style is 'Moving Forward' in Pop, variation 2, I'm playing Dm FAD.
The chord does seem to have a bearing on this.
Yes it stops, and restarts itself on the next bar.
Thanks Pete for looking at this.

Hi Peter - YES you are absolutely right - they have made that VAR one measure too long - it is easily fixed.
Will get back to you with instructions but have to do it over the weekend - got a big gig tonight and leaving right now.

Cheers

(Please remind me if for some reason I forget - age is a good reason!!! Wink )

I think Korg left something unfinished but is easy to fix! Smile
Please click on Style Record and change to Acc 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on NTT Type Parallel and on NTT Table on Fifth, Var2-CV2, as well as the other variations or CV's!
And last but not least, please set Var2 CV1 Rec Length to 8 and CV Length to 8
Saves this style and so, everything is fixed...

Regards

Tried this. Seems I've replaced the style with a 'new style' that has only piano on right hand, no left hand sounds at all, nothing. ..
Oh dear!

I tried it on mine and did what was suggested and it now works fine. I don't know if I would have found it myself, unless you play the Dm chord it does not do it. Anyway at least I know now what to do if I find another Style which does this. Thanks. Wink

Hi Peter

Did you unprotect your factory style first - if not then the original style should still be there.

If you have lost it (factory) I can get it for you but not for about 2 days.

Cheers

Hi Pete

No I didn't unprotect it first.
But, I can no longer see it. I think I've over written it with a 'New Style' that doesn't work.

Is it possible that you could send me the repaired original file.

Thanks Pete

If you want the styles returned, they are online at Korg. New Styles 27 have what you need. The style Moving Forward is a User style that the new v.2 installed with the update. New Style 27 has the same styles.

Hope this helps.

Intro 2 also has 5 bars (the last is silent) which is a bit strange. I edited mine to 4 bars thanks to the tips above.

Apologies Peter!!!!!!
- I have probably confused you - don't know why but I was convinced that it was a factory style and, of course, it isn't Embarassed
"mltodola" is absolutely correct so just load that style from the bonus styles vol 27

Sorry!!
