|
|
Hey, I'm a newbie here.
How do I save songs in SEQ mode so they show up in the drop down list and remain there.
I know how to save songs to disk and load them but they never stay in the Song drop down after rebooting.
Any help is appreciated. |

You can't autoload songs.
You can save a bunch of songs together in one SNG file and load that after booting though. |

You load your sngs one after another from disk, but tick" append" instead of "clear" when prompted, then they will list as song numbers, after you have them all in the sequencer, if you do a save and rename the song file, you can use that to reload all those again quickly, you will also need to do this if you wand to add them all to the set list, then you can select each song from their, without have to scroll through, although you still have to press the start to make them play.
Remember when you save a bunch in this way your original files still remain as separate saves, so be careful not to make your changers to the "ghost" copies and forget which song you adjusted or made a change to, I bunch them up just before a gig, then delete the bunched file after. |

The drop down bar I think you mentioned is only used to store preset set ups, like the frame work song with all your fav instruments and effects ready for you to start making tracks, your finished songs store on the hard drive, go to disk mode from sequencer, select drop down bar, top right, and select "save sng" you may want to create a folder 1st to put them into or copy the ones you have and paste them into one. |
