Hi Guys I wonder if anyone can help. I'm looking for the Muted trumpet sound from Pencil full of lead song....
Anyone know where on the kronos I can find it...

Don't know the song, you might post a YT of it.
Kronos has a few muted/cupped trumpets. Did you try them ?
I like them and use them for a few songs.

U-D108: St CupMute Trumpets is the one that sounds most like it I think, but you dont have that growl sound on that Kronos sound.
Other trumpet sounds on Kronos have growl, you can test them.

my Kronos has a growling trumpet. It sounds reasonably close.
About the song, the trumpet player is doing more than growl and expression.
it sort of sounds like he is speaking into his horn. Don't expect that FX from your Kronos

I guess the Kronos is new to you. It has an important search feature.
Make sure you are in Program mode.
Looks like a small magnifying glass- top right hand corner . click on it.
type growling/find

That trumpet sound has bit growl and lot flutter to it, in fact the growl might just be the side effect of hard flutter, so Just the growl won't do.
So look out for that. Or make a combi with regular and flutter/ growl sounds and assign to to some modulation source so you can control when and the amount of the desired effect.

Try U089. Sounds pretty close. Might need a bit of tweaking but could be useful.
Ironically it's called growling trumpet. |
