@GregC
As mentioned earlier - it is really hard to format a usb stick on Kronos, because insertering a stick causes Kronos to freeze when choosing the external stick...
UPDATE:
I tried to export the audiofile from my DAW once again, as I couldn't understand anything. AND IT SOLVED THE PROBLEM.
The audiofile caused KRONOS to fail - but when playing the audiofile direct from the usb stick on both my PC and MAC there was no problems.
Now I just wonder, why KRONOS didn't recognise the audiofile, and why freezing was the KRONOS solution instead of ignoring the audiofile. That still doesn't make sense. But I found this workaround, and appearantly it was the audiofile on the usb stick, which caused KRONOS to freeze. |

guessing you need to start out with a totally clean or even a new USB stick for the Kronos.
Typically there are hidden trash files or other files(some files have an autoload script) on a USB that the Kronos does not like. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

In your other post i mentioned to make sure when naming your wav or audio files on your USB to not contain any symbols will fix your issue other wise your Kronos will freeze when trying to read your usb stick. _________________ Korg Kronos 2,Korg Oasys 76, Korg 01W/fd, Korg im1 ipad, Korg Triton Extreme, Korg Triton Studio, Korg M3, Roland Integra 7, Yamaha Montage 7, Roland Fantom 6, Korg Nautilus, Korg PA4X, Korg Kross 2 |
