|
|
Hi there,
I never updated my OS and i believe it has something like 2.0, but I've seen talk of 2.5 (with things like time stretching and beat slicing) and wonder if these features are available for the original triton or perhaps are only for later Triton generations.
That said, I downloaded an updated but it cam as a OS9 (i assume) 253 updater file. I do have a G4 running OS9, but I'm currently on an i7 iMac. Will OS9 version perhaps format a floppy i can then insert?
I just don't want to do something wrong and damage the hardware.
Thanks,
Caleb |

2.5.3 is the latest os for triton classic there is a pdf included quoting what the changes are from previous os.
you have to format the floppies on triton first and then copy the root files on floppy not the folder itself so copying the files from mac wouldn't cause any problem.
there are instructions included how to proceed to update good luck! _________________ Gear: Korg pa700, Roland Fantom X6 |

Thank you so much for this response! It worked out.
I ended up using my OS9 G4 Mac to manage the unzip/file copying.. but I took your advise and let the Triton do the formatting of the three floppies.
2.5.3 showing. good stuff!
Thanks
