Native Instruments announced the second generation of the Kontrol S keyboard (61 and 49 key version available), and Mk3 of Maschine (which includes a built in audio interface).
Both Maschine and Kontrol S show that NI has been listening to user requests.
There is only one wish I have, and that is for a Kontrol keyboard with more than 61 keys.

I have an better audio interface, if they update to use aftertouch or any other types of MPE style control, A USB B port in my world is already obsolete. My new Mac has four ports and I look now to a future with USB3.1/T3.

The new mk2 has full support and controll over the maschine software on board...

No audio interface tough, but then, since its mostly meant for studio use, i guess people want to choose their own audio interface and not be reliable on a build in audio interface.. (altough i own the NI audio interface and quallity wise i am very pleased with it)

but then, maybe the 88 key version will be even more workstation... who knows...
