hey everyone,
so i've been told and also read in the manual i can choose songbook entries via midi which seems easy enough but can't get it to work.
i have 2 channels 1 channel selecting MSB=2 and LSB=64 and then the other channel selecting MSB=0 and LSB=1 to select songbook entry 1...am i missing something?
has anyone been able to select songbook entries in the pa4x via another keyboard?
thanks,
Sal |

Apologies I meant I have 2 tracks on the control channel with the correct MSB LSB messages as stated in the manual. |

I don't use this method, but if you are using two tracks (both on control channel) are you sure the timing of messages are set up such that the 1st MSB/LSB are actually sent before those on the 2nd track? _________________ Korg Pa4X (OS NEXT 3.1.0)

thanks for your reply.
yes i made sure by plugging the kronos into my laptop and getting a midi monitor up and checking the timings. I can see that the 1st initialisation string is being sent just before the selection string. I've also made sure the songbook entry has a number entry of "1".
not sure what else to try to be honest. |
