I want to upload several sounds from a Monologue. I don't know my Kronos well, I'm 4 years and some into it and never really program. But these can be made with al1 I just don't know how so... I'll upload. Give me minute. |

Plus if anybody wants these patches I'll send you the programs if you pm me for the Korg monologue. This might be your genre style music. For an RnB or Rap head this is particularly your flavor.

Thanks, I tinkered with it but its sorta cryptic to me. Matter of fact I haven't gotten my head around any of those engines at all. Just sparse tinkering. I understand how you could equate some or most of those sounds with the ms20 their is similarities. |

Programming a dozen patches from scratch on Kronos is a tedious job. You should, maybe, try sampling them. Learning how to sample is comparatively easier than mastering AL-1 or MS20. _________________ Korg KronosX73, Kurzweil PC3K6, Roland V-Synth GT, Kawai K5000S, Waldorf Blofeld, Novation Ultranova, Behringer Neutron, Yamaha HS80M, Boss Micro BR80, Zoom H6, Sony PCM D100, Tascam DP32SD, Mackie 1202VLZ4, Zoom MS-70CDR, Rode NT1, Sony MDR 7506. |

I do have a way to use them, I would just sync the monologue to the Kronos and mix the signals. Here's the breakdown, I bought the monologue then I stumbled upon the sounds by tweaking and they turned out to be just what I've been wanting but still if I could elaborate onboard the Kronos then that would show me a little knowledge about synthesis. Meaning if I could have those sounds onboard then I could tweak.

..then you'll need to master the incredible power of Kronos engines. _________________ Korg KronosX73, Kurzweil PC3K6, Roland V-Synth GT, Kawai K5000S, Waldorf Blofeld, Novation Ultranova, Behringer Neutron, Yamaha HS80M, Boss Micro BR80, Zoom H6, Sony PCM D100, Tascam DP32SD, Mackie 1202VLZ4, Zoom MS-70CDR, Rode NT1, Sony MDR 7506. |

i'd suggest you try to learn a bit about subtractive synthesis in general.
as most analog/virtual analog synths are more or less similar at ground level. _________________ DX7-MOD-7 Patches | Korg Related Content

Subtractive is to Additive as Plus is to Minus. I hope I read up on it. |

More like "as minus is to plus".
Subtractive synthesis simply means starting with harmonically rich waveforms (like a raw sawtooth), and subtracting harmonics from them using filters - basically. Additive synthesis means (basically) adding harmonically simple waveforms (such as sine waves) together to create more complex waveforms. Most analog synths are in the subtractive category. _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com

Try the PolySix engine in the Kronos. It's the engine most similar to operating an analog synth like the Monologue. Turn a knob and listen what happens. Rinse and repeat. |
