I have been going through chronic hoarseness over the past few years, and it has progressed to the point where I cannot sing regularly anymore, it's affecting my work, and I am constantly hoarse. Wondering if anyone else has gone through anything of a similar nature?
I have been seeing an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist for about a year now, and she says I have 2 cysts on my right vocal fold. I attended 3 months of voice & speech therapy, the ENT is now finally recommending surgery because the situation has not gotten any better. Has anyone had any success with surgically removing cysts? I have heard some scary things from people who have had nodules removed, but no one has mentioned cysts, which I think are different. _________________ Korg Kronos-61, 01/Wfd, SONAR Pro |
