Hello! I'm sorry if I write in the wrong place, but I do not know exactly where to ask for my problem. I have KORG KRONOS 2 88. The Kronos freezes sometimes and I cannot do anything except turning it off/on. Through the output you hear a terrible beep-sound. This is happening in program and combination mode. Several times I've updated the operating system, but there's no change. I found a person with the same problem on youtube:

This seems more than as a hardware issue concerning mostly SSD of PSU (power supply) failure.
- As first use a cheap UPS (100W) and observe behavior
- If out of warantee , dissasemble case and re-seat Ram boards in slots.
- Next step is to format and reinstall DVDs (following manual)
- Last user option is to replace factory SSD and reinstall DVDs
- Last step if issue insists is to visit to service center.
Hope this helps _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer

I had the same issue a couple years ago. Up-dated the OS AND THE FIRMWARE. After up-dating the firmware (different than OS) my issue was solved. _________________ Kronos2-61..(2) Triton Classic, Nord Stage 2, Previously owned lots of other gear dating back to the 70’s. |
