Hi everyone,
After trying so many products years ago I bought a PS60 and then upgraded to a Korg M50. A You Tube video actually turned me on to the PS60 because it showed someone soloing with these awesome lead sounds. So many companies don't really spotlight their lead sounds. Are they hiding something? Perhaps. After falling in love with some of the lead sounds on the PS60 and then the M50 it just seems to me that Korg has the lead player in mind much more so than competitors do. I think it's so important to have usable leads out of the box so that you can get inspired to tweak a little and create quality leads of your own without having to do it from scratch. I used to own a Yamaha Motif ES Rack and I felt that Yamaha's leads were in the dark ages. I didn't feel there was anything close to being usable at all. I felt like I had to construct every lead from scratch and it bummed me out. |
