Oh, what a synthy christmas I had this year.
Two new things got added to my machinary: the Korg SQ-1 sequencer and the Synthrotek ribbon controller for the eurorack. Both of these badboys can be used with the monotribe and give again many previously unavailable possibilities.
The SQ-1 is a really nice funky box, that compliments the modular and expands or even replaces the Monotribe's internal sequencer, as it is so much easier and better to use. And what about that ribbon? Yes, it integrates itself into the eurorack via it's special module, but as there are cv and gate outs, I thought, what would happen when connecting the thing to the Monotribe and the result is basically Monotribe with a 50 cm long ribbon. What a funk? Now this thing is finally playable like a true instrument!
So yeah, expanding and accessorizing is highly recommended instead of simply saying, that cheeper stuff is useless and can't be any good. |

Looking forward to connecting a Arturia microBrute as controller
for a CV enabled Monotribe! |

The microBrute is even more of a stable source than using the
CV OCD solution, some may use.
The uBrute makes a great MIDI>CV and Gate creator for the Monotribe! |

Besides, you can route the MicroBrute's audio output back into the Monotribe's audio input, or the other way around. Lots of possibilities. |
