Hi

My first post here was about a microphone that I installed but had to return to supplier due to hissing/interference. I talked to Korg Technical Support who were excellent and said all of my settings were correct.

I never bothered since but would now like to do so. The GAIN knob at rear of machine reduced the hissing but also the volume to almost zero.

When I installed new version 2.0 I read that the GAIN could now be done in GLOBAL , something NEW. And much more accurate than rear GAIN knob.

Has anyone installed a new microphone lately please ? I really would like one.

The previous MIC was a DYNAMIC one and top brand but I am thinking about a better quality cable next time ? The suppliers are very good about returning goods but it is still a pain and time consuming and you still end up without a MIC.

So has anyone installed one lately please. I would like to try again but then it would be back to the PA4X supplier with the machine. Easier said than done, parking in our big cities is a nightmare. Cant park anywhere near the shop.

Thanks,

Dylan

Hi Dylan

I use a boring old Shure SM58 but it's crystal clear and with very little "pops" - rarely use a Pop-filter these days.

Hopefully your problem is the mic (or cable) and not the PA4X

Cheers

Pete Very Happy
