On the Style Ballads/Ambient Groove the Upper 3 sound is Grand Piano.

It has a "glide" that I want to turn off. But I cannot find where it is being created.

Just checked the Ambient Ballad factory style, but there's no Grand Piano in Upper 3 in all four Keyboard Sets.

Wow I will have to check that. Maybe I inadvertently put a different keyboard set in there and it is contaminated, so to speak, with a Glide. Thanks for your observation.

Actually Grand Piano is on the Alto Sax keyboard set. Which is set number 2 for the Ambient GROOVE Style on my PA4X.

Is that what you all have?

In my Ambient Ballad Style the 4 Keyboard Sets are as follows:

1. Electric Piano - No Grand Piano
2. Piano & Pad - 'Grand Moving Pad' in Upper 1
3. Nylon Guitar - No Grand Piano
4. Crunch Guitar - Includes 'Pop Grand' in Upper 2

Neither of the Grand Pianos in these Sets have a 'Glide' effect.

I don't believe I took off the protection on the factory samples and styles. So that must be what's actually in my factory style. It is puzzling. I have version 2.0 maybe they changed something?

It's in the Track Controls. Portamento set on the Sweet Alto 2/ Grand Piano

Hi. Just out of interest, I have played the style Ambient Ballad and its a really nice style, was wondering what song you had in mind to go with the style.. If any.

Rob,

I use it to improvise. Kind of a modern jazz feel. A little bit of hip hop, but a solid jazz accompaniment.
