Hi everyone.

As you all know, Vocal Assault is only available in Triton Series format and for me to convert it to Pa1X format would take a considerable amount of man-hours.

Without getting into any of the technical details behind this I’m starting another poll and I would ask that only genuinely interested people please cast their vote.

Please note that by casting your vote you are NOT committing yourself to purchasing anything. You are only giving my some sort of idea as to how many maybe possible interested in this.

If it all possible as it truly may not be possible to cram in so much data into half the space. !!!.

For those who do not know what Vocal Assault is, you can find out more here….
http://www.irishacts.com/vocal-assault/

There are also a large selection of demo’s on that webpage showing off all the different programs. You can also take a listen to this if you like. It’s a song played on a Triton Studio by me using nothing but the sounds of Vocal Assault.

Hi.

Yes the Triton edition does have pretty much 1 sample to each note of a multilsample and to cram all that data into half the memory on the pa1X something would have to go.

I believe you would end up with 1 sample to ever 3 notes for the majority of the multisamples. At this point I don’t have any idea of why that would affect the sound. But this is after all only and idea at the moment.

It’s also worth mentioning that anyone who already owns the Triton Edition would not be expected to purchase the Pa1X Edition. You would get it for free.

If this ever happens at all. Smile

Regards.
Sharp.

I would buy it Sharp, However I'm still trying to buy Piano Assault. I'm still having problems with PAY PAL. After a while of trying it gets a bit frustrating. Hope you can sort it. This problem may have been encountered by others wishing to purchase your software resulting in them giving in! I hope not though.

Sharp the connection to Paypal has never worked for me either with your stuff. I've always had to go to paypal directly and send the money from there.

Hi Alex.

I don’t know what to say, I can’t find a problem and pay pal are confident that there is nothing wrong. All they are saying is that maybe the customer has their security settings set so high that cookies are being blocked.

Regards.

Sharp,

Would you also consider amalgamating the Vocal Assault with Piano Assault and Real Drums like you did with Piano Assault and Real Drums? Would there be enough space do you think?

Cheers

Hi Pueblo.

I’m afraid that wouldn’t be possible. If I where to convert Vocal Assault to pa1X format it would use every single drop of memory the Pa1X has to offer.

Regards.
Sharp.

... if I tried to work with it on the PA1X "as-is" ? Would I be able to load some of the multisamples; or is any one individual multisample just too big as-is?

Also, is there any particular software ( AWAVE? ) that you recommend for making multisamples for the PA1X ?

Hi rbeach.

As it stands right now, none of the programs would sound right since they all exceed the number of effects you can use at the same time on your Pa1X.

The fact that it takes twice the maximum amount of memory your Pa1X has to load Vocal Assault doesn’t help matters either.

It is possible to convert the data and get it running fairly close to the original version, but it really would be a serious amount of work. Somthing best left to me if this goes ahead. I just know the data inside out.

As for Awave. Yeah that’s a great program, but personally I prefer the actual system within the Korg keyboards. It’s quicker.

Regards.
