|
|
Hello Korg-friends,
A question: with my PA600 my sound directly changed when I took another variation ( in ots )
In my PA700 it changes after the fill-in, not immediatly. This is in Style-mode
with a splitpoint. With sound I mean the instrument.
So it works different. Can I change that in the PA700?
I really don’t like it. I remember older keyboards did that too.
I hope someone can help me!
Best Regards,
Ronny. |

Thanks for the quick reply my friend.
You mean to choose my sound for right hand manually and not automatic...
Ok, I think I can get used to that.
Thanks again!

Do you mean that the output sound level changes when it goes from a variation to an ending?
If so there is a setting in the Global to stop that from happening, once its set you will not have to set it again. _________________ Biggles

Thanks Biggles, also interesting for me.
But what I mean is the moment that the voice, the instrument that changes when choosing an other vatiation, in automatic stand, while playing, changes at an other moment than on the PA600.
On the PA600 the instrument changes at the exact moment I push the new variation and ‘while’ the fill-in is playing.
On the PA700 the instrument changes after the fill-in is played.
Sorry for my bad English but I hope you understand me.
Thanks again!
Ronny

In Pa-Keyboards with Cue-Mode it is fixed if Style Elements enters IMMEDIATELY, and begins from the CURRENT measure or if it enters at the beginning of the NEXT measure, and begins from the first measure of the new pattern.
Using Style-Edit you can decide how a Variation or Fill Style Element will enter after having been selected (Immediate, current measure / Next measure, first measure).

Settings in Globals (Auto Fill) only fix how the Auto Fill works and what Fill (of current or target Variation, or smart = smooth transition) should be triggered. _________________ kind regards

I see you are in Preston so presume you know the best music shop there.
With my 700 when It went from a variation to an ending the sound level of the ending went much louder.
Spoke with Justin at A and C Hamilton who talked me through what to do, unfortunately I did not make a note of what settings I changed.
It now works with no increase in sound level. _________________ Biggles

Hi Screenshot
Re volume raising from variation to ending, OK I have a PA4x but sure they will be the same try....Global. Mode Preferences. Style 2, then you will see a box with 3 sliders in I have set mine to suit my ears to
DR/Perc 115. Bass 127. Accomp 118 that works for me and the endings seem close to the variations now, play around and see what volumes work for you....hope it helps

So my 700 has reset itself to whatit was before namely endings increase in sound level
Just had a play around and tried the adjustment that Arnold suggested, played Brush Ballad and hit a F with variation 1 then noted sound level. Then repeated with ending 2 and again with ending 3, all had the same result namely an increase in sound level.
Reset the sliders to standard
Repeated the same exercise of all endings with variation 1.
Repeated the same exercise of all endings but with variation 2.
Repeated with v3
Repeated with v4.
Interesting results, the higher the variation number the less the sound level difference such that with v4 going to any ending there was not much difference
Try it yourselves, at best its a workaround, play the v4 for at least a bar just prior to pressing the ending of choice _________________ Biggles
