Is it possible to connect the two and have access to 6000 integra7 sounds with PA700?
Or is there a simpler way to expand and add few hundred cool sounds without purchasing a sound module like Integra7 but rather just download some files from the Internet? |

Yes, connecting is possible. A simple setup without a mixer:
Connect Midi out of the PA to Midi in of the sound module.
Connect audio out of the module to Line in of your PA.
You'll need to configure some other settings (midi channel(s) on your PA and module, and Line settings)
It's explained in the manual and here at the forums you can of course ask/find some extra info when needed.
Why start with a very expensive Roland Integra?
I'm having a whole lot of fun with a second hand Korg TR Rack from 1998.
It sounds absolutely awesome, even today, with my Korg PA4X.
You could also consider one of Roland's JV (JV2080 for instance).
They are available at very acceptable prices in the second hand market, and if you don't like the sound,
you can always just sell it for almost the same price, so low risk.
I've connected / configured my setup so, that my Up3 sounds can be midi'd to the module.
Like that, I can put some extra flavour to the sound pallet if I like.
Or I can ignore the module and just use the internal sounds of my PA4X.
(you can select 'Both' (default), 'internal' or 'external' for your track (track control option)).
It's all possible, but you'll need to get familiar with it. It took me some time to get it done, but in the end I got it working (and I'm not very technical...)
Good luck! _________________ Musical grtz, Frans
