I record several tracks in my songs in midi, about a four-minute song on average, but if my drum tracks get too complicated, I cannot set my song up in the Songbook. I have to load the midi file via the Sequencer before I can play it.

The only thing I can come up with is, I have to record the midi song to MP3, then I can put it into Songbook. Any suggestions or do I have to live with it like this?

The setting of the MIDI keyboard set (PA4X) is in the SongBook+ case on the Tablet. This means that all channels are closed, only 16 MIDI channels are set to Control. Although the SongBook+ could have a MIDI file and the keyboard would normally play it, it will not be in this case because the channels are closed. That's why I advise anyone who wants to work with SongBook+ on the iPad, to have all the song in PA4X in SongBook. This means that the PA4X is in the Song Play mode. If the codes are the same (on iPad and PA4X), both the table and the keyboard will be synchronized. MIDI will then automatically load into PA4X and only play is needed. Voila.
I hope I was understandable.

I think we have some confusion here?

Export-B is talking about the onboard Korg Songbook, but k_sac is answering with reference to the iPad app called Songbook+.

I apologize. I clearly wrote "SongBook+" means SongBook in the iPad. Only SongBook without + is in PA4X. I hope it will now be understandable.

After some experimentation, it appears the problem is related to a finite, limited number of events in the Style changes you make when using the Step Backing Sequence option in the Sequencer. I thought it might have something to do with switching styles, but that is not the problem. It does appear to be related to the number of Events you place in a song, even if it is all in the same style set.
