Hello
I don't use much of song book cuz I don't know enough about it,
I was watching YouTube video by Steve McNally and remember him say there is an extended video on Korg.com about Songbook, but I've been searching Korg.com
but I can't find it, can somebody guide me please.

Hey JP

Probably first is to understand what it is.
SONGBOOK (hereafter I'll call SB) is the heart of the PA4X.
It is all about "registrations" for all your songs (i.e. keyboard setups).
So, typically you hop on the PA4X and you want to set the keyboard up for a song:-
Choose style, sounds, volumes, pans, vocal harmoniser settings, synchro start, tempo, transpose etc..etc...
As soon as your song is ready to play, PRESS & HOLD DOWN (for a couple of seconds) the "SONGBOOK" button.
You can now name and create a new SB entry for your song.
Repeat this for as many songs as you need - you can also do this for MIDI files and MP3s (i.e. not just for style playing) that you may want as your song backing.
In the end, you end up with several SB entries (songs).
Whenever you select a song from SB it will setup your keyboard exactly as you had it when you created the SB entry.
To further aid performing you can organise your SB entries into SET-LISTS - perfect for those live gigs or even just categorising your songs.
Remember to save your SB to disk - normal MEDIA mode "saves"

I hope this helps a bit - I'll try and find more info but the manual may help a bit too.

Ah yes - I remember that video - it's a good introduction.
Bear in mind that the PA4X SB has more and some slightly different features.

Pete has listed what SB really is. The list is better than just the video which can be a little confusing because SB can specifically do many things. Focus on the list Pete gave you as an overview so the video will not be initially so overwhelming. With registrations on the Yamahas, it's just a button push. With Pa4x you have to name it something. That is basically the big difference.

I have gradually been deleting factory Songbook entries that I will never use. I want to clean up Songbook so when I’m searching for songs, I won’t have to search through a bunch of entries I’m not using.

Anyone else do this?

Also, is there anyway to delete more than one Songbook entry at a time?

Only one song at a time on the keyboard. Korg's free Songbook Editor allows multiple selections which you can then delete. Windows OS only afaik.

The other way some might want to use SB is if you are using or want to use the Pa4x in a band situation. SB is very handy at just setting up sounds, splits and layers. Again set up as Pete has suggested but don’t select a style or the start and synchro buttons, in SB you have a tab where you can program the start and synchro start, once sorted out name the Patch and store as you would a song, then add to a Setlist and you can then build up sets ready with all you need for song after song
