maximum size of wave sample in korg is 1048576 samples, which is depend on format has various size in MB.
In my experience, biggest I ever make works was stereo 41000Hz/16 bit, about 20.12 seconds and size 3.38 MB (5,548,550 bytes).
How?
Use Sampler and import to DK set.
Wink

Actually Pa4X lacks in compressing the size of an imported sample unlike Pa3X !!!
If Ram is empty , Pa4X OS can compress up to 13 seconds samples duration , but if you try to compress a MS sequence of
88 piano samples for instance , then compressing can work with samples bellow 10 seconds !!!

According to Korg manual:
Sample maximum size allowed (1,048,576 samples, corresponding to 1 Megasample, either mono or stereo).
8 or 16-bit resolution, and a sampling frequency rate from 11,025 to 48,000Hz.
48,000Hz sample has length 21.845 seconds.
Max samples : sampling rate = time
1,048,576 : 48,000 = 21.845 (21.84533333333333)
44,100Hz sample has length 23.777 seconds. (23.7772335600907)
bit resolution is not involve in time, but lower 16 to 8 decreasing size of file twice.
Sample Size:
Time x sampling rate x resolution x channels (stereo is 2) = file size
21.845 sec. x 48,000 Hz x 16 bit x 1 (mono) = 16,777,216 bits = 2,097,152 bytes = 2048 Kb = 2Mb

23.777 sec. x 44,100 Hz x 16 bit x 1 (mono) = 16,777,216 bits = 2,097,152 bytes = 2048 Kb = 2Mb

Conclusion:
Max size of Sample is mono 2Mb, stereo 4 Mb, if you got 8 bit sample is twice less, means stereo 2Mb, mono 1 Mb.
Also in newest version you can use compression and double up.

Now we know how much we can fit to arrangers. Wink

P.S.
1Mb = 1024 Kb
1Kb = 1024 bytes
1 byte = 8 bits
