Korg have announced the release of nine new Sound Libraries for the Kronos. Looks like they're not giving up on the old girl just yet!!
Quite impressive, so far. The Epic Composer collection is around 6GB zipped!

I auditioned the Holy Grail Piano from Q - Arts and it sounds pretty impressive. Any thoughts from anyone else? _________________ K2 Kronos 88, Mojo 61, Korg CX3, Roland FANTOM 7 |

Just tried the Q Up Arts EXs 236 & 237 (respectively symphonic & piano) demos. The piano is not for me because I mainly play classical (the Korg Berlin remaining much better for such music), but I'm sure it will appeal other people.
On the other hand, I think the EXs 236 symphonic library is interesting. Some of the available instruments like the violins, cellos and choir have a quite special character, even if they don't necessarily sound ultra realistic. |
