I'm having trouble sequencing my M1 from Cubase. Everything else works fine but the M1 seems to play some annoying extra notes that shouldn't be there. I've checked that there are no extra notes on the Cubase MIDI tracks I'm using, and I'm pretty sure the problem is either my MIDI interface or something in the M1.
I'm currently using a Yamaha UX16 USB-MIDI converter between the computer and M1(I'll probably try another USB-MIDI converter I have and the MIDI out of my external sound card).
Anybody have a clue what could be the problem? |

Well, stuff gets interesting... I downloaded a separate MIDI player and it transmits the MIDI data to the M1 just fine. When I hit play or record on Cubase while the MIDI player is doing its thing... Eek! The same extra notes appear. I made the UX16 MIDI out inactive in Cubase and now I can play the MIDI file with the player and record audio from the M1 with Cubase at the same time. The problem could be with Cubase after all... |
