I have a Yamaha QY700 , i would like to use the Yamaha Qy700 phrases and User phrases to trigger the Kronos programs in combis mode . i bought QY second hand and have not used it yet , i no it sounds dated but i no the sequencer is just so nice and i cant wait to get into the Groove templetes ,
The plan im hoping is i would to basically get an extra long midi cable and use the Kronos as a sound module and hopfully use the Yamaha Qy as a controller on my bed for late night sketch pad jams without having to go near the Kronos
Also i will probably disable the karma function in the korg and will i be able to change programs in the korg from the yamaha QY ?
it would be interesting to no how much control the QY will have over the kronos . |

Yes.
You may need to set bank system to gm/Gm2 instead of korg in global, but other than that all should be workable. _________________ DX7-MOD-7 Patches | Korg Related Content
