|
|
Kp3+ Sound levels sound good in headphones but when sent directly to the PA mixer, sample sounds are very low and distorted, but playing a synth, drum, or effect from the kp3 comes out blasting loud and clear at a level I would expect the sample to play as well..
Output connected to rca-> to Y shaped 1/4” adapter to mixer.
Switch in back is on direct,
Thanks, any help much appreciated |

Default playback level of uploaded samples is 100 instead of 127 - go to the editor to reset that.
Otherwise check your sample source for output db etc
I had to run a few tests before catching the perfect setting for exporting reason stems to my Kaossilator pro |

I have a feeling it may be your Y adapter cable to your mixer. You say 1/4". Is this mono?
Stereo samples with phasing effects will sum quiet /near silent sometimes.
Use two phono > mono jack cables and two mono inputs on your mixer (panned L&R).
Unless your mixer has stereo inputs and you already use them, with a tip/ring/sleeve stereo jack Y cable > two phones.
If your mixer and PA is all mono then try just left output from KP3 and use only one channel. |
