Does anyone have any ideas when this model will show. I did part exchange end of September and still seem no nearer to getting it.

Hello, I'm also surprised why, Pa1000 shipments are being delayed to the different stores. for example: Sweetwater and KraftMusic, say that the Pa1000 is not yet available, but that it can be preordered, while the Pa700 was already available in the market 15 days after its launch. What is happening with the Pa1000? Do you have errors in the operating system? Are they going to change the color of the case? or are they going to implement new features? I ask this because I want to update my Pa600 to the Pa1000. any information on the availability of Pa1000 in the US or Latin America will be appreciated. greetings Hans

After hearing the sound via a PA system and also the sound via the speakers of both a 700 and a 1000 and also the sound from a PA4X via the same PA all during an official Korg Demo evening I have no doubt.

I would not upgrade to a 1000 I would go straight to the PA4X, it is light years better.

The 1000 sounds like a 700 but the functionality is only that it has more inbuilt styles and sounds and the TCH sound processor to me it is not worth the extra cash over a 700.

I certainly would not place an order without a thorough checkout of an actual keyboard.

Hi Biggles, thanks for your timely response. Pa4x I love, but my budget only reaches Pa1000. here in Colombia the Pa4x is twice the price of the Pa1000. I look forward to news of your meeting with the Korg team regarding the Pa1000. greetings Hans

Bad news first
The 1000 are not yet in the EU

Good news
They are on a ship off the Indian coast enroute.

Expected to be with the principle dealers by mid Feb at the latest.

Been at a regular Korg user event tonight at A and C Hamiltons in Preston UK where the rep passed on the info.

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago from samash ,the store is also Korg dealer ,at this time they don't even know what is going on with the 1000 and why is delayed ......i just sold my PA 80 and now I have no keys...

ordered my pa1000 october and the guitar center call and said it's in and waiting for me , so i will go pick it up tomorrow.and the guitar center are out of stock now ,I think they get 5 or 10 keyboard at a time ,no one carrys bit stock of $2000.00 keyboard ,, i think.
