Quite often when I go from one sound to another on my Set List the sounds get stuck and carry over to the next sound selected. Also, the screen often tells me to shut down and restart. I don't know if these issues are related but it seems like a hard drive issue. Is there any way to optimize the hard drive? Any suggestions??

I have edited the Factory Programs and Combis to include these sounds in my SET LIST:

KRS-04 Pro Splits and Layers
KRS-35 OASYS HD-1 Dreams
EXS-92 Atmospheric

Does that help?[/img]

I don't know whats in your set list. Or if a specific Program is the headache.

I was thinking you might have a dodgy
edited program somehow. If that is the common denominator for failure, in your Set List, I would clean up that Program, by removing it from set list.

I have KRS-04. I know that works perfect, un edited, of course.

Another thought is that SST ( smooth sound transition ) is not working well in Set List Mode. I would make sure to not play 10 note chords while advancing
in Set List.

Maybe someone has the same experience as you, and they have other suggestions.

Not aware of a 'optimize ' hard drive in Kronos. Kronos has an SSD, by the way.

You might check how full your SSD is. If you are 99% full, maybe Set List does not like that.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Somehow, I believe I should go back and recreate my Combinations from scratch rather than editing already created Combinations. It is loading a lot of stuff I don't need I'm sure. All I need is the TIME!!

How do you determine if a Program is "dodgy edited", by the way?

if that Program was routinely messing up your Set List and locking your Kronos, it would be the 1st thing I would look at.
