Recent Moog released the first addition to the mother semi modulars the DFAM short for Drummer From Another Mother. One has to get it when they say its not a drum computer I can feel that.

I sure wouldn’t turn one down but don’t need it. With my ROLI items and Logic or Machine and Komplete11u my basses are covered well enough for me. I still love synths but am really a Mandolin/Guitar player, ok learner. Synths and such just add fun to the mix! I will never part with my Minitaur! I could see myself buy this though just for fun I could easily dump Maschine.

Yeah but nothing you mentioned are made of components except the Minitaur. I have plenty of sampled drums in the form of rompler presets and a very good sampler with great sequencer on it. I also have a few analogue drum machines, but this is more like a drumsynth and will sound different to my ADX-1.
And the thing about the DRAM is it's a semi-modular drum synth, way more like making unusual sounds than a drum.

I agree 100%, It is also more reasonably priced than the other desire, the DSI Tempest, granted that is an apple to oranges comparison. The more I see of the DRAM the more I want it!
