|
|
Hi,
I'm trying to use the Electribe with Ableton live 9. It syncs up fine but having trouble with the midi.
Using midi over USB for the connection, I'm getting both All Channels and individual channels playing. Ideally what I want is to create a separate midi channel for each part so I can control my tracks using a novation control XL.
It's been a while since I've used external hardware, there's no local off setting. Maybe it's a setting in Ableton I'm missing?
Any help would be much appreciated if you use it this way.
Cheers! _________________ Korg Volca Kick | Monologue | Electribe 2 |

if you're trying to control the electribe parts over midi with ControlXL, you will need to map the controls with the electribe's midi implementation and program the controlxl in ableton. There is more info online somewhere..
Check out the available resources hosted on Korg, and in the back of the manual too:

You should be able to control levels, filters, etc at that point with the midi interface. Let us know if it works! _________________ record |
