Format the memory stick or micro SD card in the Korg then use the PC to create your folders.
I did this with a large microSD card and a 32 Gb memory stick on my 700 and created folders and organised files into the folders on my laptop and the Korg sees everything OK.
I see no reasen why the 1000 should behave any different to my 700 _________________ Biggles

Korg menu systems are nit user friendly at all.
I have a PA700 and am looking to add a Kross 2 but the menu system on that is even worst than the 700, by comparison the Roland is so easy to navigate.
Anyway back to the PA series, if you search on Youtube..... Korg PA 1000 Video Manual ...... you will find a series of Korg produced videos which will help you to get started. _________________ Biggles
