I tried linking my Korg Monologue to the Arturia Beatstep Pro, and it has an issue. VCO1 works great, but VCO2 just plays static. If I turn VCO2 volume all the way down it doesn't present an issue, but I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to get the Beatstep Pro to work with both VCO1 and 2? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pretty sure you are barking up the wrong tree - you can't access VCO1 and 2 separately on different MIDI channels/numbers its just note on/note off for both at same time.

You could be sending some other automation from Beatstep, such as VCO2 wave shape change? (ie to noise shape)

What waveform is Osc2 set too? Is it noise? Like slug said, MIDI notes just send a note, not separate pitch controls for the oscillators.

I've not encountered the BSP sending erroneous MIDI CC messages, unless you have somehow set the transport controls to transmit some odd CC's. By default the start/stop/rec buttons send CC's 50, 51 and 52, but the Monologue Osc2 shape is CC37 so that counts that out. Also check that you haven't got some controller set to CC37 in controller mode, otherwise, I'd set Osc2 to a square and try again. If it still happens, try send the BSP to a computer and run a MIDI monitor like MIDIOx (if you are using Window) to check what the BSP is spitting out.
