Hi everyone,
I have a Kronos & have to do some gigs out of town and the avail keyboards are the Krome and the PA800. I won't have much time when I actually get my hands on the keyboards so I figured Id ask a few important questions here to see how quickly I can learn this in theory only.
The Krome seems the most similar to the Kronos. Is it? Id like to set up a few key maps for new combinations and make them easily accessible. Does it have anything like the Set List feature on Kronos?
The PA800 seems to be more of a solo/restaurant gig kind of keyboard. If I can get it just play simple piano and string patches etc with easy access that would be all I need.
I'll keep at it with the youtube videos and maybe the local music store will have one I can play around with this week.
Thanks for any advice I can get. Wish me luck lol

The Krome is more like the old M3. I think both have the HD1 engine.
Kronos has that engine, too
You might try to get your hands on a Krome at a GC so you have more of a hand on chance with it. Maybe you can set up some custom programs that you need.
If you like details, maybe take a look at the Korg site to see a PDF of of the available Krome Combis and Programs _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8
