Having an issue with our Korg SV-1. We purchased it about 4 years ago. About a year ago we moved from the US to Europe. Checked the voltage rating on the piano and it was rated for both so we didn't think anything of using it in Europe. A few months after moving we noticed some of the preset sounds would not work. Now it looks like when you move the nobs through other standard sounds some work and others don't. I'm stumped and haven't seen anything on this in the forum yet. Can someone point me to the fix for this?
Much appreciated! _________________ Zac |

From the user manual, do:
1. Turn the instrument off.
2. Keep the FUNCTION button pressed.
3. Without releasing the FUNCTION button, turn the instrument on.
4. When its LED starts flashing, release the FUNCTION button.
5. Press the FUNCTION button again to confirm the restore operation.
6. At the end, all settings will be reset. |

Tried this recommendation. Looks like it restored the factory saved setting however when I scroll through the sounds I’m still missing some. When you play the keys on certain sounds there’s a very faint clicking almost as if you hear the patch for a short second before it clips out. _________________ Zac |

If the system restore didn't fix the problem, then it seems like there is a hardware issue. |

Could it be the missing sounds are using the amplifier?
Try to switch off the amp modelling. If that helps the tube is due to replace.
