Hey guys,

Still finding my way around the PA4X. When I’m recording a new style, do I have to stick to only one drum kit for the style?

For example, I start recording the style using drum kit A, when I change to drum kit B, it automatically changes what I have recorded in drum kit A to the instruments in drum kit B.

drum kit mapping must be different, of course, you can use various drumkits but if you want it compatible, you should edit the drum kits via sound edit.

Just go to Style Record mode and select whatever sound or drum kit you like for a track. Each track can have its own independent settings per Style element. Example:

In Style Record mode, you can assign a drum track to Drum kit A (Intro 1) , DK B (Intro 2) , DK3 (Var 2), DK 4 (Ending 2).....etc.....all within the same Style. So yes, each style track can have own independent sound/dk settings per style element.
