Hi all. Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I'm wondering if it is possible to get this, or close to this sound on the Minilogue, which I have. I'm kinda new to synths and I don't even know how to describe what modulation is being used for bending, but I guess the patch is a synthy organ sound.

I'll keep trying to create it if I know it's possible, so if it is, if anyone could give me some advice with getting close to that, it'd be great.

The pitch bend wheel modulation effect has been set to cover several octaves downwards.

To find out what the patch is you could try messaging the guy who posted the video. It's quite a gritty, distorted sounding synth sound.

Ok, I might do that, thanks. I played around with the Organ Bass preset on the Minilogue and got it closer than I had been before.

Right, so that "revving" sound is the pitch bend covering several octaves, that makes sense now. Can that be done on the Minilogue, I'm having a look through the settings now and can't seem to see it. Either way, thanks!

When the "slider" control is set to pitch bend, there are two parameters, "Bend Range +" and "Bend Range -" whose values can independently be set to between 1 and 12 notes (semitones) i.e. up to 1 octave. Setting "Bend Range -" to 12 should get some way to achieving the desired effect.

Oh brilliant. I'll do that now and I should be close enough if I get some basic distortion. Thanks for the help.

It was difficult to tell exactly how the actual patch sounded on that clip because of the other sounds going on, but there did seem to be a bit of something, possibly some granularity going on. Listening to Ghost's live peformance of this piece, the synth they're using doesn't have that granular thing going on. Looked like possibly a Minimoog, or Moog Little Phatty was being used by the Ghost keyboards player on the performance I saw.

They use the Little Phatty for solos and a few other bits and pieces alright. I have the sound close enough to start trying to get it better with effects. I could probably do this easily on the Juno, but I really want to utilize the Minilogue if I can Smile
