Hi all
Well pleased with my new Pa1000. I want to move on and buy a microphone and use vocal harmoniser. I have started to read the manual section but can anyone give some practical tips that may help please.

Can "feedback" be a problem for example. And how important is the quality and length of the cable.

I use a Countryman E6 with a Shure PGXD system plugged into the Pa1000. For small groups, less than 50 people I use the internal speakers. In this case you have to get the balance between the trim at the back and the mic volume just right to avoid feedback. Adjust the trim so that you are mostly in the green but sometimes orange. Then control with the mic vol knob.

Also remember not to get your head close to the speakers.

Noted what you said. Sent for Mic today. Plus lots of reading ref. Mic settings.
Will post and keep you updated.

PS Some very good stuff posted on this Pa1000 section of site. Lots of it deals with basics. Great. Well done all of you.
